Job description
As a Mechanical Change Implementation Engineer you have a crucial role in the deployment and roll-out of various mechanical design changes to our products as well as supporting new products introduction & technical transfer process globally
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
- Undertake daily engineering tasks and solve complex technical challenges related to design and documentation changes
- Develop new and/or improve existing mechanical and electromechanical designs as required
- Maintain design documentation, drawings, 3D CAD models and Bill of Materials for various products
- Work with the Change Manager and all impacted stakeholders to develop change rollout plans
- Support NPI (New Product Introductions) project teams in the technical transfer process
- Support production engineering and manufacturing teams for new product launch and change implementation
Requirements
- Good understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles & processes
- Well-Organized personality with a team oriented approach
- Technical / Engineering qualification and at least 3 years professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks, PDM and mechanical design best practices
